This course delivers excellent value in terms of simulation, with clear practical demonstrations that help visualize the outcome. However, the coding part feels challenging because it assumes prior knowledge of every method inside the library and the use of recursion. This expectation makes it harder for learners who are new to these concepts, and often requires seeking external resources to fully grasp the material. To improve the learning experience, I would recommend: Explaining the core concepts (such as kd-tree) thoroughly within the course itself. Using visual graphs/illustrations to represent real data points for better clarity. Providing brief guidance on why the code is written in a certain way, rather than assuming familiarity with all methods. Introducing and explaining fundamental C++ concepts, such as smart pointers, before they are used in the lessons. Finally, the short industry interview included in the course felt unnecessary and did not add value to the overall content.

The program is well thought out, the content is very close to the real world. The projects and examples provide a good balance of hands-on learning and theory.

Really Cool! The project was exciting! Doing it from scratch.

The only in depth course on LiDAR, and it's in C++, so no more playing. Udacity has done a great job teaming up with Mercedes for this one.

Very well structured, the tutorials are very good to learn. It's being a long time since i haven't code on C++ and this program guides you really well when you have some gaps in the knowledge like me. It is a hard program, but with a lot of interesting information from real life.
